Background

Morstow is built into the side of cliffs, and although it has a nearby natural port very few ships ever dock there. The members of the covenant rarely had anything to do with the mundanes. Their position was remote and innocuous enough to rarely make them cause for attention. It is believed that the cliff caves which house the covenant were once the sleeping place of a dragon, but no real evidence has ever come to light of its existence outside local legend. A magical mist that can confuse and disorientate travellers along the cliffs surrounds the covenant. Magical water creatures are said to frequent the shorelines, including a mermaid who is believed to have claimed the lives of several grogs.

Visitors' library

It is unknown what state the libraries are in. Morstow was known to have some impressive works in the art of Mentem.

Major vis sources

The covenant was able to draw in a fair supply of vis each year: Intellego, Imagonem, Mentem and Vim
