Background

Holy Isle covenant looms high above the windswept cliffs looking out across the Irish sea. Created purely by Terram magics, it has a most unnatural air. Glass-smooth walls and towers rise up against the bleak sky. Strange gargoyles and statues guard the battlements and rooftops. The covenant also extends down into the rock of the cliff, shaped by Muto magics to create impregnable barracks and sancti. Established after the Tremere House meeting of 1093 and dedicated to the Order at the next Grand Tribunal, this covenant has a mission: to root out and destroy any of House Diedne who attempt to return to the British Isles. Little is known about Holy Isle, and the Tremere do not advertise what defences or resources they own there. The carved statues and gargoyles are said to be animated sentinels, capable of rising up to defend the covenant if needs must.

Recent history

Once home to the diabolists Darius and Isabella, many within Stonehenge wonder how far the corruption spread and whether the old Quaesitor Dionysus should still be serving there. However, the arrival of Ursula and Zeraes appeared to settle the politics of the dedicated covenant to some degree. With Fenriata gone, to reside at Cad Gadu, and Zeraes moving on to take the position of Primus Flambeau, this leaves only the Pontifex and the Quaesitor remaining.
