Background

The Tor upon which the covenant is built once had a number of standing stones on its peak, but they were removed in roman times. There is still a reasonably strong magical aura in the area and ghosts are said to frequent the nearby barrow mounds. This was once a strong covenant with great many contacts within the mundane world. However, despite being well defended it was overrun and destroyed by forces loyal to the renegade Magus McGreine. The site now is in ruins and it is unclear whether the Tribunal will simply abandon the site or commit young Magi to rebuild it.

Recent history

Gutted and plundered by McGreine's forces and site of the deaths of Magus Garius and Magus Du Clerc, Borri-Tor may not have a future as a covenant. Much will depend upon whether the remaining Magi can recruit new members to the covenant and have the will for the long process of rebuilding.
